The Mentone Life Saving club has a long history of providing quality programs to our members. These programs begin with our comprehensive Nipper program from 7 through to 13 years of age. This program is run by a team of enthusiastic parents under the guidance of our Junior Manager.
Following on from our Nippers, we offer our YAM (Youth at Mentone) program for Ages 13 through to 20 years old. This age group enjoys taking part in learning our basic and advanced life saving awards and are valued members to both the club and the public, carrying out regular beach patrols under the guidance of our experienced Patrol Captains. Our Senior (20 - 30 years old) and Master (30 +) members are catered for also, being involved in gaining specialised life saving awards and are integral to the structure of our club.
All groups, be it Nippers, YAMs, Seniors or Masters can be involved in competition and attend regular training sessions in a non threatening, friendly environment. The parents, partners and interested members of the family are not left out either. We welcome assistance from all of our members, no matter what the contribution.
