What a great weekend!! Thanks to all those that helped with the Carnival and Nippers on Sunday. What a great effort. Well this is our last weekend and who could believe the weather we are going to have Friday and Sunday so lets us it!!

Friday night
We encourage as many families as possible to come down to the beach and enjoy the club this Friday. We have a brilliant forecast and as it is our last weekend of Nippers and it is a great opportunity to come together. Meals will available by booking with Olivier on 0428 198 648 or 0423 987 251 and we will have a round robin family beach volley ball comp running.
Club Champs
All age groups have the opportunity to compete in the 11/12 club championships for each Age Group Boys and Girls. The competitor with the most points from the U8’s above will be presented the trophy at our Presentation night in March. For the Kinder/Prep’s and U7’s there will be ribbons for all competitors. On completion of the formal races we will be having heaps of fun with parent v kids races and lots more!!
Nippers Meeting
We are going to have a General Meeting for Nippers with the primary objective of gaining commitment for Age Groups Managers and Coaches and volunteers to help with the organisation for 12/13. It is hoped it will take around 20mins to deal with the below jobs:
Assist in communicating to schools
Assist in our marketing
Assist in our planning
Assist in our repairing
Assist in our coaching and age managing
Assist in our Officials panel
Assist in our Water Safety
Assist in our social and fundraisers
Assist in our new members events
Etc.
More hands make light work.
End of season Sausage Sizzle
Right after the meeting we will have a sausage sizzle up on the deck and provide an opportunity for all the parents to catch up with refreshments.
Sandsensational Sand Sculpting Event
We will be taking registrations during the morning and the event will begin directly after the thank-you’s up on the deck around 1pm. If you have friends or family who may want to come down the beach for what looks like a wonderful afternoon please bring them down. This event is fantastic and the sculptures last year were amazing don’t forget the camera!!
